- 4-6 apples, peeled and sliced.
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ⅓ cup flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup butter, cold and cut up
- Place apples in the bottom of a greased 9 x 9 baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice and white sugar. (May add cinnamon if desired.)
- Combine oats, flour, brown sugar and salt.
- Work butter into mixture until like meal.
- Sprinkle evenly over apples.
- Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.
